Ibn Kathir explains the verse “Ummatan Wasatan”, as “the just,” “the best (in goodness or quality),” “the top choice,” “the finest,” and “the most honorable” ummah (nation). Thus, this Ummah is “THE” role model for humankind.

From this evidence, we can see that success is not restricted in definition to male or female.Worshipping Allah (swt) and having taqwa (fear of Allah (swt)).With this in mind we as Muslim women in Islam can look to the Prophet (saw) as an example of success, as the role model for humankind.

On March 8, 2025, International Women’s Day is observed, marking 115 years since its establishment in Copenhagen in 1910. Western governments and institutions celebrate the day with loud proclamations of progress, equality, and liberation. Yet, reality exposes their deep hypocrisy, particularly in their self-appointed mission to “liberate” Muslim women.

As Ramadan enters our lives each year, it brings with it a shift—a moment of clarity where we step back from our daily routines and ask ourselves deeper questions. It is a month where we naturally reevaluate our relationship with Allah (swt), our priorities, and the direction of our lives. In this sacred time, we begin to ponder: What does success truly mean?
