Ismail Qaani, Commander of the Quds Force affiliated to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, arrived in Baghdad in a sudden and undeclared visit, in which he met parties from the Coordination Framework, in an attempt to bring viewpoints closer and prevent the escalation of internal disagreements that threaten the disintegration of the alliance, after a deadlock that lasted for months since the November elections.

On the morning of Saturday, 28 February, America and the Jewish entity launched a surprise attack on Iran that resulted in the assassination of a number of leaders of the Iranian regime, foremost among them the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
