On Monday, 11 Rabi’ al-Awwal 1448 AH corresponding to 24/8/2026 CE, a delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan, led by Ustadh Abdullah Hussein, member of the Central Communications Committee of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan, accompanied by Sheikh Omar Abdul Rahman and Sheikh Sayed Darwa, members of Hizb ut Tahrir, met with Sheikh Khalil Ibrahim Khalil, the Hausa tribal chief in Khartoum State, at his home in the Mayo district, south of Khartoum. Also present was Ustadh Saeed Khalil Ibrahim, Secretary for the Students of the Hausa Tribe.
The meeting included an introduction to Hizb ut Tahrir, its objective and purpose: to work with the Ummah to resume the Islamic way of life by establishing the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood, which would implement Islam and unite the Muslim lands, after the colonial kuffar (diselievers) demolished the Khilafah and divided our lands into ethnic and national entities.
Hizb ut Tahrir works and calls upon Muslims to rise with it in this great endeavour, particularly community leaders and tribal dignitaries. The colonial Western powers are now working in our lands to divide and fragment them by pushing tribes towards armament and conflict with one another, thereby causing further weakening and division.
The original role of the tribe, however, should be to carry goodness, work to raise the banner of the Deen, implement Islam, and support the project of the Khilafah, so that it may stand as an impregnable barrier against the plans of the West and America.
The tribal chief thanked the delegation, saying: “We thank you for these virtuous words.” He added: “We are with supporting Islam and implementing its Shariah, and against the plans to divide the country and plunder its resources.”
The meeting concluded with an affirmation of continued communication and future meetings.
