On Wednesday the 27th of August 2014, the Danish parliament unanimously voted in favor of Denmark going to war in Iraq once again.

The Danish contribution to the US action in Northern Iraq will initially be a C-130 Hercules aircraft with lighter arms and ammunition, to be given to Kurdish forces. Along with fifty-five men who are to be in charge of the safety of the transport.

What is it that makes Denmark go to war this time? It is the assertion that one cannot just sit by and watch as a humanitarian crisis is developing in Northern Iraq. An assertion ringing hollow, for since when have ‘humanitarian crises' been something that worried Danish and Western politicians?

Hizb ut Tahrir / Skandinavien

Hizb ut Tahrir in the Wilayah of Pakistan held demonstrations across Pakistan demanding from the sincere officers of the armed forces to end their support for both democracy and dictatorship and provide Nussrah for the establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate". Participants were holding placards declaring "O Pakistan Armed Forces! End Support for Democracy and Dictatorship" and "New System New Leadership, Hizb ut Tahrir & Khilafah "Caliphate"."

Hizb ut Tahrir/ Tunisia organized a political seminar on the island of Kurkana entitled, "The Resources of the Ummah between Justice of Islam & the Crime of Secularism."  The seminar began with a videotape regarding the looting of the country's wealth from the colonialism's corporations. The first speech was by Brother Fathi Al Marwani, member of the administrative body of Hizb ut Tahrir/ Tunisia, entitled, "The Resources of the Ummah - Between Plunder and Deception." Brother Mahran May, member of Hizb ut Tahrir, speech entitled, " Rulings of Islam brings Justice and Security for Mankind" and brother Ridha Belhaj, official spokesman of Hizb ut Tahrir/ Tunisia, concluded with interventions to be implemented.
