Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Tunisia March

"In Support of Al-Aqsa and the Prisoners"

On Friday, April 3, 2026, a march organized by Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Tunisia set out from the Al-Fath Mosque in the capital, Tunis, following the Friday prayers. Held in solidarity with Al-Aqsa and the prisoners, the march bore the title:

"Mobilizing Armies, Toppling Thrones, and Declaring Jihad: The Only Path to Saving the Prisoners and Liberating Al-Isra"

Attended by a large crowd of the people of "Al-Khadra" (Tunis), the march commenced with the chants: "Labaika Ya Aqsa!" "We answer your call! We answer your call! We answer your call, O Al-Aqsa!" and "O Al-Aqsa, we have answered your call; all the people of Tunisia stand with you!" Participants carried banners; the main banner displayed the march's central title, while two others read: "O Muslims: Who will stand for the prisoners now that the gallows have been erected for them?" Throughout the march—which wound through the capital's main roads—the crowd resounded with slogans aimed at rousing the spirit of the Ummah and its sincere men of power, such as: "Al-Aqsa calls out to the Muslims... Where is your zeal? Where is your faith?" "Oh, the shame! Oh, the shame! The execution of prisoners—by Allah, it is a disgrace!" "O Officers! O General Staff! Al-Aqsa calls for Jihad!" "Al-Aqsa calls out to the free men... Who will break this siege?" "O Armies! O Free Men! Who will rise in defense of the prisoners?" "O Armies of the Muslims... The prisoners are your brothers in faith!" "O Armies of the Muslims... The path is Jihad in Palestine!" "O Armies of Jihad... May the Lord of Mankind grant you victory!" and "There can be no liberation, O Armies... Without the toppling of thrones!"

The march concluded on Revolution Street, in front of the Municipal Theatre, with a rally during which a member of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Tunisia delivered a speech, emphasizing that the duty of the Islamic Ummah today remains exactly as it was in the past. To mobilize—not merely to condemn and denounce, but to ignite its armies with the fervor of faith, to kindle the flame of Jihad in the path of Allah, and to topple the thrones of its rulers—while marching resolutely toward Al-Aqsa Mosque, liberating it and proclaiming Allah’s greatness:

[وَلِيَدْخُلُوا الْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا دَخَلُوهُ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَلِيُتَبِّرُوا مَا عَلَوْا تَتْبِيراً]

"Then when the final promise came, [We sent your enemies] to sadden your faces and to enter the temple in Jerusalem, as they entered it the first time, and to destroy what they had taken over with [total] destruction." [Al-Israa:7]. Indeed, any action falling short of this duty constitutes a betrayal of Allah, of His Messenger, of the site of the Messenger’s Night Journey (Al-Isra), and of the blood and captives of the people of Palestine.

The Jewish entity—along with its foremost criminals—is far too insignificant and feeble to occupy Al-Aqsa Mosque.

This is the work of Hizb ut Tahrir in the Land of the Olive Tree; this is its duty toward its Ummah—and specifically toward those within it who possess power and strength—to rouse them, to clarify the Shari'ah ruling incumbent upon them, and to lift the veil from their eyes so that they may truly grasp this duty, fully embrace it, and rise up as one united man. [They must rise] to establish the State of Islam, to liberate the captives and the site of the Night Journey, to uproot the Jewish entity, and to spread the message of Islam—as guidance and light—across every corner of the globe.

"Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that - then those are the defiantly disobedient." [An-Nur: 55].
