The International Stance Regarding the Jewish Decision to Reoccupy the Gaza Strip

At dawn on Friday, 8 August, 2025, the security cabinet of the Jewish entity approved a plan to take control of Gaza. The office of the prime minister of the Jewish entity reported that the plan aims to: First: Disarm Hamas. Second: Return all prisoners, living and dead. Third: Disarm all factions. Fourth: Assume security control over the Gaza Strip. Fifth: Establish an alternative civil administration that is not subordinate, neither to Hamas nor to the Palestinian Authority.

Amid the entity’s internal divisions, this plan sparked intense international criticism from the European Union and Britain. The UN Security Council convened, and Muslim countries and the United Nations, with all its officials, denounced it. So, what lies behind this plan? Why did the world revolt against it, especially influential and effective countries such as France, China, Russia, and Britain? It seems to anyone who is observing that their feelings have been validated! We can say that perhaps this is due to the following reasons:

Firstly: The American stance is that Gaza will be under American-Arab administration without the existing structures, which are the Palestinian Authority, Hamas, and the PLO. America has a vision for resolving the Palestinian issue through normalization with Muslim countries, so that there will be a normalized Jewish entity in the region. America is the one that holds the reins of the issue, and no one else. Trump criticizes the stances of European countries and attacks Macron, when he declared that he wants to recognize the Palestinian State. Thus, Trump said about Macron, “He’s a team player pretty much. But here’s the good news. What he says doesn’t matter. You know. It’s not going to change it.” (Sky News Arabia, 25/7/2025). US Secretary of State Marco Rubio had the same position regarding these countries, as he said, “strongly rejects (Macron’s) plan to recognize a Palestinian state at the UN general assembly... This reckless decision only serves Hamas propaganda and sets back peace. It is a slap in the face to the victims of October 7th.” (France 24, 25 July 2025). Trump’s ambassador to the Jewish entity and the administration’s pillars attacked the New York conference calling for recognition of the Palestinian state. Al Jazeera Arabic reported, “US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, also stated that establishing a Palestinian state is no longer a real goal of US foreign policy.” (Al Jazeera Arabic, 28 July 2025). Now, perhaps America turned a blind eye to the conference, because its other resolutions were the same as its demands, and the demands of the Jews: Hamas’s surrender, the disarmament of Gaza, and the establishment of self-rule there. We see that Trump wants to apply the provisions of the “Deal of the Century” to Gaza and the West Bank, to the point that he added the idea of displacement, and reducing the population of the Gaza Strip by half, sending them to Libya and Somaliland in exchange for economic and diplomatic privileges.

Secondly: The stance of the Jewish entity, which stipulates separating Gaza from the West Bank, even if it is distorted and preventing the connection between them, Netanyahu agrees to the Trump plan, and all statements indicate that Trump gave him permission to end the mission in Gaza if Hamas does not agree to his conditions. Russia Today reported, “US President Donald Trump stated on Tuesday that the issue of occupying the Gaza Strip is a decision that falls solely on Israel.” (Russia Today, 5 August 2025). Therefore, we find that the entity set a time period before launching the aggression, which is two months, under the pretext of preparation and planning. This is not the case in reality. Instead, it is in order to give mediators an opportunity to pressure Hamas to surrender and leave Gaza. We see that America is strengthening the hand of Jews in the West Bank, as the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, said that “the mountains of Judea and Samaria are the rightful property of the Jewish people” and that the territory was at “the front line of the state of Israel, and must remain an integral part of it.” (Al Jazeera Arabic, 8 August 2025). The American ambassador declares that the West Bank will have an exceptional status for the Jews, which is to take the settlements and keep the populated areas under siege and restrictions, i.e., local autonomous cantons under Palestinian administration. Now, we do not think it will be the PLO, but instead they will be security guards for the Jews. The issue is not just Gaza for America and the Jews, but rather the liquidation of what remains of Palestine, through a project that is a distortion of the Oslo Accords, and includes an attempt to displace people to reduce their number, through strict security and economic measures. The bottom line is that the Jews want security and economic control over the West Bank, and Trump’s America is responding positively to them on many matters. The apparent change in America’s stances is only due to pressure from the domestic and international medium, so it temporarily changes its skin, until the issue matures according to its desires.

Thirdly: The European stance: European countries claim to be pressuring the Jewish entity to withdraw from Gaza, demanding an end to the genocide and the release of hostages. The New York Times spoke of a British plan offering a solution to the Palestinian issue. These stances also stem from popular pressure that has grown angry at the Jews, because of the massacres they are committing in Gaza. Otherwise, they, namely the European rulers, are merely aiding the Jews, and even partners in their hostility towards Islam and Muslims. In general, under Trump, their efforts do not extend beyond international forums and diplomatic meetings. America’s stance is the decisive factor in resolving the Palestinian issue, and the Jewish contractor is the one who prepares the conditions for it.

O Muslims: It is a shameful humiliation that the kuffar are planning to kill the people of Palestine, especially the people of Gaza, and you are motionless, while they pour the lava of Hell on our people in Gaza, and the rulers are conspiring. Your inaction regarding their crimes makes them more arrogant, tyrannical and aggressive. By Allah (swt), you are able to respond to them in kind, even ten times more, and to save your brothers and sisters in Palestine from their brutality and tyranny, if you support Allah (swt) and take a stance that pleases Allah (swt), removing from yourselves the shackles of humiliation with which your rulers have bound you with. Be with Allah (swt) regarding yourselves and your oppressed brothers and sisters in Gaza and Palestine. Allah (swt) said,

[إِنَّا لَنَنصُرُ رُسُلَنَا وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَيَوْمَ يَقُومُ الأَشْهَادُ]

“Indeed, We will support Our messengers and all those who believe, both during the worldly life and on the Day when the witnesses will stand.” [TMQ Surah Al-Ghafir: 51].
