As the Mecca Defense Alliance Meets in Istanbul, Crusader-Zionist Aggression Continues!
News:
The Foreign and Defense Ministers and Chiefs of General Staff of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye, the parties to the “Mecca Joint Defense Agreement,” met in Istanbul. Speaking at the meeting, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated that the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement would create ever greater stability in the region and said, “A process of testing a new security and cooperation architecture in our region has begun.” (Agencies, 02.09.2026)
Comment:
As is known, the leaders of Türkiye, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia met in Mecca on Friday, August 7, and signed a joint defense agreement covering the three countries. In statements made by the relevant official institutions of the three states, it was emphasized that the agreement aimed to strengthen all forms of collective deterrence and stipulated that an attack against any one of the three states would be considered an attack against them all.
What is striking here is that the agreement came about during visits by the Pakistani and Turkish leaderships to Riyadh following an unscheduled invitation from the Saudi Crown Prince. However, the fact that it was announced on the same day that the agreement would be signed not in Riyadh but in Mecca revealed that none of the three countries had made a plan or preparations for the agreement and that they had joined the meeting in haste. This, in turn, showed that there was an external hand behind the agreement and that the alliance had been established at the encouragement of that hand. There is no doubt that this dirty hand is the United States of America, which is waging a war of corruption and colonialism across the Islamic lands. Indeed, the insolent U.S. President Trump praised the agreement, describing it as “an extremely bold and important step bringing the Middle East together,” and expressed his satisfaction. Likewise, some Republican senators in the United States described the Mecca Alliance as an achievement of the U.S. President.
And indeed, this is the case. For both the process by which the agreement was established, its content and objectives, and the statements made at the first meeting held in Istanbul confirm that the Mecca Alliance was formed within the framework of America’s Middle East strategy and the ongoing war with Iran.
In particular, it is a political reality that Türkiye, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia operate entirely within America’s orbit in foreign policy. As a NATO member, Türkiye is a natural and loyal ally of the United States. In various regions of the Middle East, the Caucasus, Europe, Central Asia, and Africa, it serves the United States—sometimes under the status of mediator and sometimes through its military power under the pretext of combating terrorism—in order to open space for America or preserve its influence. The Azerbaijan-Armenia Agreement, the diversion of the Islamic revolution in Syria from its course and the placing of the country under American control, the transformation in Libya of the European-backed Government of National Unity in favor of the American agent Haftar, the provision of military vehicles and ammunition to Ukraine against Russia, the overt and covert support given to the Jewish entity during the Gaza genocide, the pressure placed on Hamas to lay down its arms, and similar steps are among the clearest proofs of this cooperation. Pakistan’s attacks and pressure against Afghanistan proceed along the same lines, while Chief of General Staff Asim Munir is acting almost like Trump’s negotiating envoy in the Iran war. Saudi Arabia, meanwhile, is a regime that has become so deeply mired in servility that it wages a proxy war in Yemen to secure influence for the United States at the cost of condemning the people to hunger, death, and misery, and even offers the revenues derived from the Ummah’s wealth to the United States as tribute. Therefore, expecting anything from these countries in the interests of Muslims is nothing but a fantasy.
As for what happened at the first meeting in Istanbul, Minister Fidan stated: “As of today, we have also begun our work to establish the institutional structure envisaged by the agreement. First of all, we reached agreement on the official name of our alliance. The official name of our alliance is the Mecca Defense Alliance.” These words clearly show that the alliance was established by an instruction from outside and that new tasks were distributed so that it could rapidly become institutionalized. The assertion that the alliance is defense-based and that its doors are open to other countries in the region, meanwhile, provides reassurance to the rogue Jewish entity. With that reassurance, it continues its oppression and corruption in Gaza, the West Bank, and all of Palestine.
What is certain is that this alliance was created not to protect one another, but to protect America’s colonial interests. The United States embarked on such an initiative in order to extricate itself from the Iran war, which it entered with great arrogance but in which it quickly became bogged down and exposed its weakness, and to force Iran into complete surrender through pressure from the three countries. Later, this alliance will be used to protect the Jewish entity, encircle China, and, most importantly, suppress potential Islamic awakening movements. Therefore, Hakan Fidan’s thundering from Istanbul at Netanyahu serves only to conceal humiliation and betrayal. Had he been sincere, he would have responded together with his partners to the attack carried out by the Jewish entity against Türkiye in Syria.
At this point, the duty incumbent upon us Muslims is to remain vigilant against hollow groupings directed by colonialist unbelieving powers and to work for the establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate), the only force that, in the light of Allah’s Sharia, will secure the intellectual, political, military, and economic unity of the Islamic Ummah and thereby liberate our first and last qiblah from oppression and captivity.
