US Vice President J.D. Vance caused a stir online on Sunday when he jokingly revealed the two “very important” people: his wife, Usha Vance, and the Pakistani army chief, Asim Munir. This came on the sidelines of US-Iranian talks in Switzerland, where Vance, speaking at the Bürgenstock resort during discussions with Iranian officials about a permanent peace agreement, said, “Since Field Marshal Asim Munir welcomed us with the prime minister in Islamabad, I have joked that I have two very, very important people in my life, an Indian and a Pakistani. The Indian is my wife, and the Pakistani is Field Marshal Munir.” (Aljazeera.com)

It is not surprising that Asim Munir, the general who, by his own admission, has deprived himself of sleep since the outbreak of the war between his master, the US, and his neighbor, Iran, is striving to secure a victory for his American masters through various diplomatic and intelligence means, while also threatening the use of military force. It is no surprise that he was one of the most powerful men close to his patron, Trump, and his vice president, Vance. Therefore, it was also unsurprising when Vance himself revealed, “Over the past three months, I’ve probably spoken with Munir more than almost anyone else.”

However, strangely, Asim Munir, a memorizer of the Quran, known as Hafiz, considers his closeness to US something to be proud of, and his role in mediating between his brother and neighbor, and his enemy and the enemy of Allah (swt), His Messenger (saw), and the believers, a noble deed to boast about. Asim Munir smiles at the praise of the disbelieving colonialist, forgetting the Words of Allah (swt) and His confirmation that the oppressors are allies of one another, as Allah (swt) says,

[إِنَّهُمْ لَنْ يُغْنُوا عَنْكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا وَإِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ وَاللَّهُ وَلِيُّ الْمُتَّقِينَ]

“They will not avail you against Allah at all. And indeed, the wrongdoers are allies of one another, but Allah is the ally of the righteous.” [TMQ Surah Al-Jathiyah: 19].

What is even stranger is the silence of the people of Pakistan in general, and the people of military power and protection and the ulema in particular, regarding this betrayal by the leader of their Muslim nuclear army, and their failure to strive to overthrow him and replace him with someone who represents Islam and Muslims and champions the causes of his Ummah, and does not seek to achieve victory for the disbelieving colonialist whose hands are not yet dry from the blood of Muslims from the massacres of Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Iran and others. How can any officer in Pakistan Army, who was raised on Islam and Jihad in the path of Allah (swt), remain still, and how can any alim be silent when he knows what Ibn Masoud (ra) narrated, where he said, the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, «إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَا دخَلَ النَّقْصُ عَلَى بَنِي إِسْرائيلَ أَنَّه كَانَ الرَّجُلُ يَلْقَى الرَّجُلَ فَيَقُولُ: يَا هَذَا اتَّق اللَّه وَدعْ مَا تَصْنَعُ فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَحِلُّ لَكَ، ثُم يَلْقَاهُ مِن الْغَدِ وَهُو عَلَى حالِهِ، فَلا يمْنَعُه ذلِك أَنْ يكُونَ أَكِيلَهُ وشَرِيبَهُ وَقعِيدَهُ، فَلَمَّا فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ ضَرَبَ اللَّه قُلُوبَ بَعْضِهِمْ بِبَعْضٍ»“The first thing that caused the decline of Banu Israeel was that a man would meet another man and say, ‘O you, fear Allah and stop what you are doing, for it is not permissible for you.’ Then he would meet him the next day and he would be in the same state, and that would not prevent him from eating with him, drinking with him, and sitting with him. When they did that, Allah struck the hearts of some of them.” Then the Prophet (saw) recited,

[لُعِنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ عَلَى لِسَانِ دَاوُدَ وَعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ]

“Those who disbelieved among Banu Israeel were cursed by the tongue of Daud (as) and Esa (as), the son of Mary” until [فَاسِقُونَ] “evil doers” [TMQ Surah Al-Ma’idah: 78-81]. Then he (saw) said, «كَلاَّ، وَاللَّه لَتَأْمُرُنَّ بالْمعْرُوفِ، وَلَتَنْهوُنَّ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ، ولَتَأْخُذُنَّ عَلَى يَدِ الظَّالِمِ، ولَتَأْطِرُنَّهُ عَلَى الْحَقِّ أَطْراً، ولَتقْصُرُنَّهُ عَلَى الْحَقِّ قَصْراً، أَوْ لَيَضْرِبَنَّ اللَّه بقُلُوبِ بَعْضِكُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ، ثُمَّ لَيَلْعَنكُمْ كَمَا لَعَنَهُمْ»“No, by Allah, you must enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, and you must restrain the oppressor, and you must compel him to the truth, and you must restrain him to the truth, or else  Allah will surely cause some of you to turn against others, and then He will curse you as He cursed them.” [Narrated by Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi]?!

The treachery of Pakistan’s rulers, both military and political, in siding with the disbelieving colonialist and striving to serve its interests in the region at the expense of the interests of Islam and Muslims, has reached the heavens, and is undoubtedly something that displeases Allah (swt). Nothing remains but for Allah (swt) to cause discord among us and curse us as He cursed the Banu Israeel—may Allah (swt) forbid!—unless we rectify our situation before it is too late. This requires diligent striving to purify ourselves of these agents, by the granting of military support (نصرة nussrah) from the people of military power and protection to Hizb ut Tahrir to establish the Second Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood. Only through it will the Ummah be strengthened and unified, under a state that rules by the Shariah Law of Allah (swt), sweeping away all presence of the disbelieving colonialists from Muslim lands, and advancing to conquer the lands of the Romans, by opening both Rome and Washington.
