Starting 18 April 2024, floods hit Kenya, affecting people in 21 of the 47 counties. The capital city of Nairobi and surrounding areas were particularly affected. The Nairobi River and the Athi River both burst their banks displacing 40,000 people. Over 130,000 are displaced, 91 missing, 29 injured, and 169 have been reported as dead. Global attention has turned to universities across the United States, where students have erected encampments to demand action to end ‘Israel’s’ war on the Gaza Strip. The Jewish state media reported the Jews’ preparations to send forces to the city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip. The Head of the Arabic Media Desk for the Jewish army, Captain Ella Waweya, confirmed this, with the Arabic Alhurra Channel. She added the Jews were waiting for the “political green light” from the United States, amongst other countries.
