Press Statement
A Delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan
Pays Two Visits to Politicians in Al-Ubayyid
(Translated)

A delegation led by Ustadh Al-Nadhir Muhammad Hussein Abu Minhaj, Member of the Hizb ut Tahrir Council in Wilayah Sudan, accompanied by Professor Muhyiddin Kajur and Ustadh Muhammad Saeed Bouke, both party members, visited Ustadh Omar Hassan Badi' al-Zaman, a leader in the State of Law and Development Party, at his office on Thursday, November 13, 2025, as part of the Hizb's campaign to thwart the Darfur secession plan. The purpose of the visit was to introduce the Hizb ut Tahrir campaign in Sudan to defeat the Darfur secession plan. Ustadh Omar stated, "I consider Hizb ut Tahrir my second Hizb, and working to reestablish the Khilafah (Caliphate) is our primary concern," praising the Hizb's role. He then added, "Praise be to Allah who has blessed us with Hizb ut Tahrir in North Kordofan."

The meeting was excellent, and then the delegation handed Ustadh Omar copies of the Hizb's publications, relating to the Hizb's opinion on hot issues, especially Darfur.

Later that same day, the delegation visited Ustadh Salah Abdullah, the lawyer, who welcomed and honored them. After hearing from the head of the delegation the details of the Hizb's campaign to thwart the plan to separate Darfur, he said: "We will not accept the separation of Darfur, and we stand with you."

At the end of the visit, he requested a number of the Hizb's publications related to the campaign, so that he could personally deliver them to the lawyers.
