A delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir / Kenya headed by Ustadh Mahd Ali - Head of the Central Communications Committee of Hizb ut Tahrir in Kenya accompanied by Ustaadh Yusuf Ghasani and Ali Mwangi both who are members of Hizb ut Tahrir, met several prominent Muslim leaders based in the Kenya’s Capital Nairobi among them:

As part of the 102nd anniversary of the abolishment of the Khilafah (Caliphate), Hizb ut Tahrir / Kenya conducted countrywide picketing after Jumua prayers on 17th February 2023 corresponding 26th Rajab 1444 AH. This activity was to remind the Ummah of its deplorable situation that it has been facing since the abolishment of Khilafah in 28th Rajab 1342 Hijri corresponding to 3rd March 1924 CE.

In an effort to provide state-backed concessional loans to small businesses that have struggled to access financing from mainstream banks, the Government has launched the Hustler Fund upon which already poor Kenyans have borrowed an average of sh17 million an hour through the fund on its first day.

The cost of living in the country continues to hike with the prices of basic foods and non-edible commodities hitting record highs, drying the pockets of the ordinary citizen who is struggling to keep his nose above the waters.
