“The Supreme Interest of the State” Devours Its Own Children!
(Translated)
The German Chancellor is under pressure from the very political doctrine that he recently declared to be the “essence of German existence.” Despite his repeated statements of full commitment to the principle of the supreme interest of the state (which means full support for the Jewish entity), the Zionist forces in politics and media are mobilizing efforts to undermine his recent decision to restrict the export of weapons to the entity through a coordinated attack!
Chancellor Friedrich Merz, at the beginning of assuming the chancellorship, declared unequivocally his absolute commitment to the Jewish entity and its security, and he openly questioned the necessity of implementing the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court against Benjamin Netanyahu. At that time, everything seemed fine in Berlin’s political atmosphere. But that suddenly changed with the statement published by the Chancellor on the X platform on August 8: “The German government will, until further notice, not allow the export of any military equipment that could be used in the Gaza Strip.” Although the Chancellor began this sentence by saying: “The release of the hostages [...] is of the utmost priority and that (Israel) has the right to defend itself against Hamas terrorism,” a storm of outrage erupted within minutes. Newspapers and media outlets—foremost among them those affiliated with the Zionist publishing house Axel Springer—spoke of “the obliteration of the principle of the supreme interest of the state,” “loss of political control,” and “treason”! The Central Council of Jews in Germany went further by equating the decision with an outright hostile act: “‘Israel’ is attacked daily by enemies in the Middle East and is being bombed with rockets [...]. Depriving ‘Israel’ of the ability to defend itself against these threats puts its existence at risk.” According to the Central Council of Jews, the German government must “correct the course it has taken as quickly as possible.”
Even more dangerous, however, were the attacks coming from within the Chancellor’s own political circle... informed sources indicated “unease” in his parliamentary bloc, in the cabinet, and among “extremely influential figures” in his Christian Union party. A close associate of the Chancellor, who remained unnamed, confirmed that “the CDU is on fire.” Markus Söder, the leader of the Christian Social Union (the sister party of the CDU in Bavaria), refused to provide the necessary support to the Chancellor. Instead, he sent Alexander Hoffmann, the leader of his regional group, Klaus Holetschek, the leader of the Bavarian parliamentary group, and Stefan Mayer, the CSU’s foreign policy expert, demanding a review of the decision and the holding of “internal talks.” Roderich Kiesewetter, a member of the CDU’s Foreign Affairs Committee, described the decision as a “grave political and strategic mistake.” CDU parliamentarian Carsten Müller wrote on X that he “strongly condemns” the German government’s decision. While the silence of the CDU’s General Secretary, Carsten Linnemann, was striking, the party’s parliamentary group leader, Jens Spahn, made no statement until days later, when he explained in a video message on Instagram that the decision was, in his view, “justified.”
According to one analyst, this statement was “the minimum form of support, and at the same time the maximum form of disavowal that a parliamentary group leader can show toward his chancellor.”
These attacks were accompanied by statements from the entity’s ambassador, Ron Prosor: “Instead of disarming Hamas, there is now discussion of disarming Israel; this is a festival for Hamas.” He added: “Berlin’s stance does not contribute to a legitimate debate on the approach in Gaza, but aims at rendering ‘Israel’ incapable of defending itself.” Finally, on August 10, Netanyahu himself made a statement on the matter, portraying a weak German Chancellor who “collapsed under the weight of misleading media pressures and internal pressures from various groups.” In addition, different media outlets affiliated with the Jewish entity launched attacks of their own, republishing, in the context of the debate, anti-German statements by National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir: “Eighty years after the Holocaust, Germany once again supports Nazism.”
Thus, the principle of the “supreme interest of the state” is manifested not only as a concept “contrary to the foundations of law” and a “totalitarian concept” (as Kai Ambos explains), but is also employed as a “tool for manipulating political identity” and its impact extends “far beyond the Christian Union” (according to Robin Alexander). Although current polls indicate that 83% of Germans support stopping arms exports and 76% reject the practices carried out in Gaza, a massive mobilization of Zionist media and its politicians is attacking the German Chancellor’s decision and demanding its review! In this context, the concept of the “supreme interest of the state” is being exploited as an effective political weapon that can be directed against the highest political office and its representative—even if they explicitly declare their belonging and complete loyalty to the Zionist project!
The slightest deviation from the drawn line, namely absolute support for the entity, automatically leads to a fully coordinated campaign led by agents of influence, indoctrinated criminals acting according to their implanted deviant beliefs, and opportunists seeking power and influence. This reality is confirmed by research from the National Coordinator for Counterterrorism and Security in The Hague, which stated: “‘Israel’ carries out deliberate disinformation campaigns and tries to politically influence the Netherlands.” In reality, the effectiveness of such campaigns, as the Dutch body spoke of, is multiplied in Germany, and their political impact becomes far deeper, because the idea of the supreme interest of the state—in its identity function—is tied to the process of re-integrating Germany after World War II and forcibly linking it to the West.
Hizb ut Tahrir once again calls on the German government to radically reconsider its position and to break free from its attachment to the Jewish entity. The global outcry over the genocide in Gaza, combined with German public opinion rejecting this genocide, forms together a historic opportunity to be freed from the “eternal guilt complex” that has shackled German political decision-making for decades, and to create a real turning point in Germany’s policy toward the Middle East. On this basis it will be decided whether Germany will be able to reconnect with its historical relations with the Islamic lands, or whether it will be classified as a hostile actor, bearing the burden of its complicity in the genocide against the people of Palestine, and held accountable for that by the State of the Khilafah (Caliphate) soon to be established, by the permission of Allah.
