The Bedouin community of the Al-Auja Waterfall area (Palestine) is witnessing a large-scale forced displacement process during the month of January 2026, as a result of the escalation of settler attacks, whereby between 20 and 33 families were forced to forcibly leave their homes up to the date of 11 January 2026. The escalation of daily settler attacks continues, which included emptying water tanks, cutting water lines connected to homes, preventing residents from filling water from the springs, in addition to stealing livestock, cutting electricity wires, and continuous harassment of residents under the protection of the occupation forces. As the presence of settlers and their harassment increases, the people of Al-Auja stand defenseless in the face of these systematic attacks, amid a complete absence of the responsible authorities in the Palestinian Authority, whether the Ministry of Information, the Ministry of Health, or the security forces.

Therefore, families have begun dismantling their homes and tents and displacing toward other areas such as Al-Jiftlik or the villages adjacent to Jericho, which threatens the loss of a large livestock wealth in the area.

This suffering endured by the people of Al-Auja is heavy, especially in these days of strong winds, rain, and storms, while the world is preoccupied with the number of seats that the women’s quota will obtain in a parliament here or there in the Arab countries, and while millions are spent on institutions occupied with the “ignorance” of the women of Gaza of gender concepts. The women of Al-Auja and the women of the camps of Tulkarm and Jenin, and others whom the occupation forced to leave their homes and places of residence, are met with marginalization and media blackout.

But we know with certainty that this occupation is fed by the major states with the means of life, and that they turn a blind eye to its crimes and continuous violations. They are the ones who posture and lecture us about sustainability plans, while through the international system they establish a planet based on injustice and violations, in which the strong devours the weak, and survival is not for the best in morals nor in civilization, but for whoever possesses money and the means of material power.

The continuation of this situation is impossible, and the violations that occur in Al-Auja and other places where injustice nests and persists due to the conspiracy of the forces of evil to humiliate the people of truth—who possess no weapon except steadfastness that pressures attempt to break—will not last long. For Allah grants respite to the oppressor until He seizes him, then He does not let him escape.

However, these trials that the Muslim women of Palestine face with patience are a severe test for those capable of lifting injustice, and for the negligent ones whom the tyrants of the earth frighten, while the wrath of the King of Kings does not terrify them.

[إِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ عَلَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَجَعَلَ أَهْلَهَا شِيَعاً يَسْتَضْعِفُ طَائِفَةً مِّنْهُمْ يُذَبِّحُ أَبْنَاءَهُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيِي نِسَاءَهُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُفْسِدِينَ * وَنُرِيدُ أَن نَّمُنَّ عَلَى الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَنَجْعَلَهُمْ أَئِمَّةً وَنَجْعَلَهُمُ الْوَارِثِينَ]

“Indeed, Pharaoh exalted himself in the land and made its people into factions, oppressing a sector among them, slaughtering their sons and keeping their females alive. Indeed, he was of the corrupters. And We wanted to confer favor upon those who were oppressed in the land and make them leaders and make them inheritors.” [Al-Qasas:4-5]
