NATO Airstrike Killings of Women and Children in Afghanistan Re-iterates the Urgent Need for the Re-establishment of the Khilafah State

On Thursday 14th February 2013, the BBC, CNN and other media outlets reported that NATO airstrikes killed 10 civilians, including 4 women and 5 children during a joint Afghan-NATO operation in the Shigal district of the northeastern Kunar province of Afghanistan. Ailing Saudi Regime Desperately Arrests Women and Children for Throne

Sunday 10 February 2013, CNN and other news agencies reported that Saudi authorities arrested tens of women and five children after a protest occurred in Riyadh and Buraida. The women were demanding the release of relatives held as political prisoners for years without access to lawyers or trial, their charges were criticizing or opposing the Saudi regime.

Pregnant Woman and Children Killed in Fire in Turkey's Syrian Refugee Camp are Victims of Erdogan's Inhuman Nationalistic System

On Tuesday 15th January 2013, Reuters reported that a fire broke out in a tent for Syrian refugees in South Eastern Turkey killing a pregnant woman and three of her children. According to Turkish officials, the fire at the Telhamut refugee camp in Turkey's Sanliurfa province was caused by an electric heater in the family's tent. Hizb ut Tahrir organized a momentous International Women's Conference in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Saturday the 22nd of December 2012 entitled, "The Khilafah "Caliphate": Protecting Women from Poverty and Enslavement." Today a summary booklet was published detailing key points presented during the talks that day. The conference featured nine speeches as well as testimonials, and questions and comments from the audience.

Women and Children in Jordan's Syrian Refugee Camp having been Abandoned by the Jordanian Government, Battle for Survival under Severe Weather Conditions

Jordan is currently experiencing some of the harshest weather conditions with freezing temperatures and torrential rains, causing the Muslims in the country's Syrian refugee camp to fight for survival due to atrocious living conditions. Heavy rain, snow and 60kph storm winds have reduced the entire area to a muddy swamp land with tents having been blown over and flooded.
