The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) said in a report released on Friday 19/1/2018 that 270 children were killed in Iraq last year because of the war waged by the Iraqi government on ISIS. The war also caused the displacement of 1.3 million children among the 2.6 million displaced as a result of the war which lasted three years.

14th November there began mass searches in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, in the houses of Muslims in one way or another connected with the political party Hizb ut Tahrir. The searches were held for several days, as a result more than 80 Muslims were detained. After the long interrogations, 7 Muslims were arrested. Exorbitant Price Paid by Civilians in Deir al-Zour And the Muslim Rulers at the Negotiating Table Sit and Meet with the Murderer

Russian warplanes, according to local sources from Deir al-Zour, launched six air strikes with cluster bombs on river ferries that were carrying dozens of civilians fleeing the countryside of Deir al-Zour to other areas, resulting in more than fifty deaths and dozens wounded, mostly children and women.
