Peace is far out of reach for the Muslims of Palestine and Kashmir. Both are subject to daily inhumane treatment at the hands of an occupying force, driven by extreme nationalist ideology. Now Muslims all over

ardent secularists in the British government and the media have turned around to accuse Muslims, once again, for threatening free speech. The very notion of free speech is so riddled with contradictions that it comes as no surprise that its champions cannot put forward a reasonable argument in its defence.

Imagine if Volodymyr Zelensky tweeted that Ukraine desires peaceful and cooperative ties with Russia, whilst Ukrainian citizens are being slaughtered during Putin's invasion! You would call him a traitor, question who he is working for, and refuse to have any further dealings with him.

The war in Ukraine and the posturing response of Western nations is a damning example of how little the current secular world order has to offer and a desperate reminder that Muslims must be active in exposing the current hypocrisies and explaining the Islamic alternative. Politicians and their media stooges are predictably calling to the same tired ideas that have been responsible for all of the wars of the past…
