From Britain to Australia: False Recognitions Paving the Way for Wider Normalisation

Two years after the genocidal massacres by the Zionist entity in the Blessed Land of Palestine, backed fully by America, NATO, and their crusader allies, the UN and world powers have responded by rewarding the entity. The recognition of a “State of Palestine” comes while Gaza bleeds, and after 150+ states have already given similar recognition.

Britain, which created the entity in 1948 on colonised land, now seeks to wash its hands of responsibility while continuing policies against the Muslim Ummah and obstructing its return under a caliphate that rules by Allah’s law. Australia, Canada, and Portugal followed Britain. Prime Minister Albanese declared: “Australia formally recognises the independent and sovereign State of Palestine.”

Yet none of these leaders can define the borders of this so-called state, since the Zionist entity controls almost all of Palestine and even seeks its expansion between the Nile and Euphrates. This recognition is nothing but political cover: an attempt to absolve Western governments of complicity in massacres. It serves only the entity, not the people of Palestine, who have faced death and torment for over 70 years, especially in the past two.

These moves also pave the way for normalization. Treacherous regimes in the Muslim world will follow, granting the entity “legitimacy” not only from the UN led by America, but from states that should be defending the Ummah.

Even the Zionist entity rejected the gesture. Netanyahu vowed there will never be a Palestinian state, promising to continue the campaign toward a “final resolution”, meaning, more killing and displacement. To reassure the entity, Britain’s Prime Minister Keir Starmer claimed recognition would “revive hope for peace,” joining 150+ countries, and framed it as part of a push for a two-state solution beginning with a ceasefire and prisoner release. In reality, this only provides cover and security for an oppressor that has violated all human and divine norms.

The Islamic Ummah must fulfill its duty: support its people in Palestine and work to liberate all occupied land through the establishment of the rightly-guided Caliphate on the method of Prophethood by following the example of Umar al-Farooq in opening Bayt al-Maqdis and Salah al-Din in liberating it from the Crusaders.

Beware of hypocrites who feign support but conspire against the Ummah, foremost the UN and its permanent members, which exist to prevent Muslim unity under Allah’s law and the defence of the oppressed.

Allah (swt) says:

[قُلْ يَا قَوْمِ اعْمَلُواْ عَلَى مَكَانَتِكُمْ إِنِّي عَامِلٌ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ مَن تَكُونُ لَهُ عَاقِبَةُ الدِّارِ إِنَّهُ لاَ يُفْلِحُ الظَّالِمُونَ]

“Say, ‘O my people, work according to your position; indeed, I am working. You will come to know who will have the final abode. Indeed, the wrongdoers will not prosper.’” [Al-An‘am: 135].
