Lebanon Bans a Children’s Film that Promotes Homosexuality, Whilst Saudi Arabia Allows Its Screening

 The Lebanese Ministry of Culture announced on Wednesday 9 August 2023 that it will work to prevent the screening of the film “Barbie” in Lebanon, because it promotes homosexuality and questions the need for marriage and family. The Lebanese Minister of Culture, Mohammad Wissam Al-Murtada, said in a statement that, “The Barbie film promotes homosexuality and transgenderism.
