Obituary of the Da’wah Carrier Salih bin Muhammad al-Shafrah
(Translated)
[مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَى نَحْبَهُ
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلاً]
“Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah; of them some have completed their vow, and some still wait; but they have never changed in the least.” [Surat Al-Aḥzāb: 23]

Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Tunisia mourns one of its Shabab, brother Salih bin Muhammad al-Shafrah, who passed away on Saturday, the twenty-first of Rabi’ al-Awwal 1447 AH corresponding to 13/09/2025 CE. He was from the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir in the locality of al-Qayrawān, who worked in its ranks during the darkest times of oppression and tyranny. He was indeed holding firmly to his da‘wah, devoted in carrying it, calling for the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood, confident in the promise of his Lord Almighty and in the glad tidings of His noble Messenger (saw), until he passed away. Thus we reckon him, and we do not ascribe purity to anyone before Allah.

We ask Allah Almighty to accept him among the righteous, to raise his rank in the highest levels, and to inspire his family, relatives, and loved ones with patience, steadfastness, and reward.

[إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ]

“Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.” [Surat Al-Baqarah: 156]
