The Pharaonic Egyptian Regime Approves the 2026/2027 General Budget that Destroys People’s Lives,
While Preoccupying Itself with Pursuing Those Working for the Revival of the Ummah by Establishing the Khilafah on the Method of Prophethood
(Translated)
The government has approved the general budget for the year 2026/2027, claiming in its media that it is a budget that favors the people of the country and investors, and enhances economic activity, healthcare, education, social protection, and support for production and exports. The proof that this budget serves only the corrupt elite with influence in the country, and is merely for media consumption, far removed from what the Minister of Finance claimed, is the news of Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aati discussing, in a phone call with U.S. Secretary of State Mark Rubio, the provision of urgent American economic support for Egypt! What kind of budget is this that the regime begins by begging from its master, America?!
The undeniable reality, clear to any seeing eye and conscious heart, is that the regime does not work for the interests of the country or the people. Rather, it is preoccupied with pursuing those working to establish the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the method of Prophethood in obedience to America’s orders. This is the work it has committed itself to, diligently monitoring people’s communications and raiding their homes in the middle of the night, when Allah (swt) made it a time of rest—violating their privacy and honor. At the same time, it opens the borders to cowardly Jews fleeing Iranian missiles, while they have been and remain closed to our people in Gaza for the past two years, as they were subjected to relentless bombardment by America and the Jews! Meanwhile, it cannot tolerate hearing or reading a word of truth proclaimed by those calling for the Khilafah that would uplift the entire Ummah, not just Egypt. Thus, it pursues them, raids their homes, abducts them, denies responsibility, and disappears them into prisons in what has become known as enforced disappearance. Indeed, it and its enforcers are described by the truthful Messenger (saw):
“The best of your leaders are those whom you love and who love you... and the worst of your leaders are those whom you hate and who hate you...” (Sahih Muslim).
As for the budget, instead of solving Egypt’s economic problems by organizing ownership as Allah has commanded, protecting private property, distributing public ownership to the people, and restricting the state to its own assets, the regime burdens people by raising taxes and increasing inflation to cover the deficit, attempting to avoid economic deterioration, recession, or even depression, as is happening now. This was confirmed by the Minister of Finance, who stated that “the budget aims to increase public revenues by 27.6% to reach 4 trillion pounds,” increases that are clearly tax-based rather than stemming from real investments.
Instead of the Foreign Minister contacting his American master to demand compensation for the losses Egypt has suffered due to America’s and the Jews’ war on Iran, particularly the reduction in ships passing through the Suez Canal and the loss of even the small fees Egypt earns for these major services, he is seen begging for green paper that is not worth the ink it is printed with, in exchange for actual goods and services. Is this what Ahmed Kojok, Deputy Minister of Finance, meant when he said that “the new budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2026/2027 favors the citizen and investor and boosts economic activity”? Or are these statements merely for local consumption, deceiving people into thinking the regime works in their interest rather than for its own men, its masters, and foreign corporations that have impoverished the country by looting its real resources, oil, gas, gold, and minerals, and providing near-free services to American, Jewish, and Western ships through the Suez Canal?!
The Minister of Finance’s statement that expenditures will increase by 13.2% to reach 5.1 trillion pounds, including allocating 832.3 billion pounds for social protection (less than 20% of total spending), despite being the most deserving category, further reveals the imbalance. The majority of the budget goes instead to the network of corruption within the country, represented by regime figures and its security apparatus, which imports advanced surveillance tools to spy on people, employs electronic propaganda armies to polish the regime’s image, and unleashes those whose minds have been manipulated to attack the people and those working for their revival through establishing the Khilafah.
O People of Egypt al-Kinanah and the sincere among its army: there is no longer any excuse for remaining silent about this criminal regime. By Allah, you are capable of changing it if each of you fulfills his duty in enjoining good and forbidding evil, and in supporting Hizb ut Tahrir to establish the Khilafah on the method of Prophethood upon its ruins. You can see that the regime fights battle after battle—not against the Crusaders, America and the West, nor against the Jews striving alongside America to shape a Middle East to their liking, but against everyone who exposes its collusion with them, and against those who call for Islam as a system of life and governance in obedience to the orders of its masters in America, who are terrified by the word of tawheed and the signs of the dawn of the Khilafah’s re-emergence.
Will you remain silent until they succeed in achieving their ambitions from the Nile to the Euphrates? By Allah, if you do, you will lose the honor of this world and the bliss of the Hereafter, and Allah will hold you accountable just as He will hold this regime accountable for its betrayal of Allah, His Messenger, and the believers. And remember the saying of Allah Almighty:
“[And they should consider that] when those who have been followed disassociate themselves from those who followed [them], and they [all] see the punishment, and cut off from them are the ties [of relationship], Those who followed will say, "If only we had another turn [at worldly life] so we could disassociate ourselves from them as they have disassociated themselves from us." Thus will Allah show them their deeds as regrets upon them. And they are never to emerge from the Fire.” [Al-Baqara: 166-7].
So join hands with Hizb ut Tahrir and turn away from this regime, and you will succeed in this world and the Hereafter.
“And respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life, and know that Allah comes between a man and his heart, and that to Him you will be gathered.” [Al-Anfal: 24].
