Genocide and Hypocrisy - How Washington Defies Its Own People

The current U.S. administration, led by Donald Trump, is following the path of its clients among the tyrannical rulers of the Arab and Muslim world - those who disregard the standards of public opinion, govern through absolute dictatorship, and ignore the creed and values of the Ummah.

Despite recent U.S. opinion polls showing a sharp decline in public support for supplying the Zionist entity with weapons for its genocide in Gaza, and growing calls to restrict U.S. military aid, Trump boasted in his address to the Knesset about the use of American arms. He stated, “We make the best weapons in the world, and we have a lot of them, and we’ve given a lot of them to ‘Israel’. Frankly, Benjamin [Netanyahu] used to call me a lot - ‘Can you get this weapon, and that weapon,’ and some of them I hadn’t even heard of before.” He added, “But we were getting them here, right?” Trump praised the Zionist entity’s efficiency in deploying these weapons and remarked, “Israel has learned how to use them well.” (Al Jazeera)

One of the most notable indicators of public disapproval came from a Gallup poll showing that only 32% of Americans support ‘Israel’s’ military operations in Gaza, while 60% oppose them. A Pew Research Center survey found that 33% of U.S. adults believe Washington provides excessive military aid to ‘Israel’, while 35% think humanitarian aid to Palestinians is insufficient. Similarly, a Quinnipiac poll revealed that 60% of American voters oppose sending additional military assistance to ‘Israel’.

These findings underscore that the administration’s policy does not reflect the views of the American electorate, revealing a stark disconnect between official policy and public opinion. Even within the major political parties, support for the Zionist entity is waning. Among Democrats, 75% oppose sending additional military aid; among independents, 66% share that view; and even among Republicans - traditionally strong supporters - only 56% favor more military assistance.

These figures reflect a significant shift in American attitudes toward ‘Israel’ and growing demands to curb U.S. military aid, driven by mounting concern over the escalating violence and its devastating impact on the people of Palestine, the Blessed Land.

The collective stance of the Western world - the so-called “free world”- in supporting the Zionist entity’s crimes in Gaza, supplying it with weapons, funds, and political and media cover to justify its atrocities, further exposes the hypocrisy of Western civilization. Their gathering at the Sharm El-Sheikh conference to celebrate “victory” over children, women, the elderly, and the destruction of hospitals, schools, and mosques reveals the true nature of a civilization built on centuries of exploitation and oppression - one that continues to preach freedom, human rights, and self-determination while betraying those very ideals in practice.

It is therefore incumbent upon the peoples of the world - foremost the peoples of the Islamic world - to work toward replacing the secular capitalist system, whose exploitative foundations have brought misery and corruption to humanity, with the divinely guided Islamic system. Unlike capitalism, which transforms into a dictatorship serving entrenched financial elites, Islam offers a just and moral order that reflects the will of the people and secures their true interests under divine guidance.
