Relentless, Intensified, International Scheming to Prevent the Revolution of ash-Sham from Achieving its Goals and Principles

When Allah (swt) granted the people of ash-Sham the blessing of toppling the criminal tyrant of Syria, on the morning of 8 December 2024, despite the immense schemes and huge plotting, orchestrated by the entire Western world, led by America, to abort the revolution and prevent it from achieving its goal, it was the will, determination, and Iman of the people of ash-Sham, with their simple and modest means, that ultimately triumphed against the international community.

After this great victory, the battle did not end. Instead, it shifted from the military fronts to the political arena. The people of ash-Sham emerged victorious in their struggle against the criminal regime, and this is seen by the disbelieving West as a major problem. That is why we see the Western states striving to contain the people of ash-Sham, to steal this victory from their hands, and deprive them of reaping its foremost fruit, namely, the implementation of the Shariah Law of their Lord (swt). They exploit the weakness of the new administration leading Syria to entrench the secular system, pressuring it to bring Syria once again under the grip of the international order and its criminal institutions.

Anyone following Western policy in Syria can clearly see a determined effort to tie Syria’s future to the West and tighten Western control over the country. The recent statement by the United States Special Envoy for Syria, Tom Barrack, is just one example of this, when he said America has “complete confidence in the Syrian government and the new Syrian government's military.” Lifting sanctions to encourage changes worked better than keeping them in place until Syria met specific demands, Barrack added. Similarly, Turkish President Erdogan affirmed on Wednesday, June 25, that his country will continue to support Syria’s stability by preserving its territorial integrity and political unity.

Thus, the efforts of the states, to help the new administration stand on its feet, are clear. However, these efforts are in the way the criminal West wants, not in the way Allah (swt) desires, is pleased with, and as the people of al-Sham want.

A close look at the policy of the new administration reveals a clear weakness in handling the most critical issues it faces. There is no decisiveness or firmness. Instead there is excessive leniency and humiliating complacency. This, in turn, will bring calamities and have dangerous consequences that pave the way for disastrous outcomes. As a result, obstacles and barriers will be placed in the path of the people of ash-Sham, giving an opportunity for the lurking states to intervene in Syria, through various tools, the foremost among them being the usurping Jewish entity.

The administration’s willingness to strip itself of any Islamic identity, and hide behind the ideas of nationalism, and the secular project, is the height of weakness and defeatism, thinking that by doing so it will gain the approval of the West, which would secure its seat of power. Yet Allah (swt) addressed this matter clearly and closed the door to anyone who seeks to innovate or experiment in a way that is misplaced, saying,

[وَلَنْ تَرْضَى عَنْكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلَا النَّصَارَى حَتَّى تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ]

“Never will the Jews or Christians be pleased with you, until you follow their faith.” [TMQ Surah Al-Baqarah: 120].

Furthermore, reality has proven beyond any doubt that these states operate solely on the basis of interests. When what they hold in their hands becomes useless, they cast him aside on the roadside, after earning the wrath of Allah (swt), His Messenger (saw), and the Ummah. The discarded criminal Bashar, and the discarded treacherous rulers before him, are the clearest examples.

The abandonment of the Islamic identity, and the retreat into the rotten idea of nationalism, has encouraged every opportunist to falsify the pure history of the revolution of ash-Sham. Just a few days ago, statements were made by the spokesperson for the High Elections Committee, Nawar Najmeh, which shocked the people of ash-Sham with the audacity to distort the truth. It was an attempt to erase the Islamic nature of the revolution, a history that is far too great and noble to be falsified by a deceiver.

For fourteen years, the people of ash-Sham have offered their dearest sons, and sacrificed what is most precious to them, to overthrow the criminal regime and establish a just system based on their Aqeedah (doctrine), the very aqeedah by which they fought the criminal regime, and its sectarian and racist militias. Not a single person ever rose to give their blood, wealth, and life to reproduce the criminal regime with new faces, or to participate in a secular government that incurs the Wrath of Allah (swt) and provokes His Anger. These sacrifices paid dearly by the sons of the revolution, were made solely for the Sake of Allah (swt) and His Pleasure.

The people of ash-Sham rallied around these goals, demanding their realization, marching in their revolution, both men and women, both the elderly and children, emerging from the masajid with voices ringing out clear demands and chants that reflected the Islamic spirit of the revolution, هي لله هي لله ولتحكيم شرع الله “It is for Allah, it is for Allah, and for the implementation of Shariah Law of Allah (swt),” لن نركع إلا لله “We bow to none but Allah (swt),” and قائدنا للأبد سيدنا محمد “Our leader forever is our Master Muhammad (saw).” They sought only the Pleasure of Allah (swt) and no one else, and so they embraced sacrifice, martyrdom, and offering the most precious of what they had, fully certain that they were on a path leading to one of the two noble outcomes, victory or martyrdom. This was especially true when the entire world abandoned and conspired against them, yet the revolution surged forward, openly and defiantly, seeking Allah’s Pleasure and striving to elevate His Word.

More than six months have passed since the fall of the tyrant, and the people of ash-Sham are still waiting for the new administration to fulfill their demands and goals, the very ones they sacrificed for. These noble goals are the implementation of Islam, the severing of foreign influence in their country, the prosecution of criminals from Bashar’s fleeing regime and all those whose hands are stained with blood, the establishment of Islamic justice, and the benefitting of the country’s wealth, that was stolen by the regime’s criminal gangs and mercenaries.

At this point, questions began to arise in the minds of many, as they observed scenes and actions from the new administration that left them astonished and surprised. A phrase began to circulate with great bewilderment on people’s tongues, “Go, for you are free,” directed toward the fleeing remnants of the regime and its criminal thugs. People are asking, how can there be pardon and forgiveness for the very thugs who inflicted immense harm upon the revolutionaries? Worse still, how can they be honored and integrated into the new state, and even assigned high-ranking and sensitive positions?

For instance, some have been recruited into the General Security Directorate, and criminals such as Fadi Saqr have been appointed as officials in the “Civil Peace Committee,” to the point where he now intervenes on behalf of the imprisoned thugs of the former regime, and arranges their release in batches from time to time. Similarly, the criminal Ahmad Al-Omar, closely linked to Asma Al-Assad, the wife of the fleeing Bashar, has been appointed as an advisor to the People’s Assembly Election Committee.

This became even more evident during the Civil Peace Conference held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, chaired by Hassan Soufan, a member of the Civil Peace Committee, with the participation of Nureddin Al-Baba, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior in the new administration. The conference amounted to nothing more than expired pain-killing injections. The discussions merely offered excuses and justifications for releasing criminal thugs and officers, all in the name of preserving civil peace, until the Damascus government can implement “transitional justice.” They seem to believe this will appease the anger of those who have lost loved ones, and made enormous sacrifices, having endured the regime’s crimes for many long years.

Today, the believing people of al-Sham are being tested and tried by Allah (swt), after He bestowed a victory upon them and honored them with it. They now face a choice. They can either continue on their path and show gratitude to Allah (swt) for His Favor by implementing His Shariah Law on earth, establishing Islamic justice among the people, and exacting retribution on the criminals, the vile remnants of the fleeing regime thereby fulfilling His Words,

[لَئِن شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ وَلَئِن كَفَرْتُمْ إِنَّ عَذَابِي لَشَدِيدٌ]

“If you are grateful, I will certainly give you more. But if you are ungrateful, surely My punishment is severe.” [TMQ Surah Ibrahim: 7]. Alternatively, they can, may Allah (swt) forbid, deny Allah’s Favor and victory, and remain silent in the face of the great evil they witness. This amounts to the falsification of the revolution’s truths and the theft of its fruits from their hands. In that case, they will face the fulfillment of His Words,

[وَإِنْ تَتَوَلَّوْا يَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْماً غَيْرَكُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُونُوا أَمْثَالَكُمْ]

“If you still turn away, He will replace you with another people. And they will not be like you.” [TMQ Surah Muhammad: 38].

And we say to our people in ash-Sham: be as your Ummah has always known you to be, as the Muslims everywhere have known you to be. Continue your march forward, placing your trust in Allah (swt). Proclaim it loud and clear, striking the ears of the hypocrites and the chief criminals: Yes, to the establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly-Guided Caliphate) and to the implementation of Allah’s Shariah Law alone. Allah (swt) is with you and will never let your deeds go to waste.
